I don't know about you but I'd love to not have to worry about a budget.  The hard reality is we all have only so much money.  When I was little my mother used to say money doesn't grow on trees.  As I got older I knew what she meant.  Having a budget though is a good thing.  It's keeps us in check.  A budget is extremely important especially when it comes to planning a wedding so set your wedding budget early on.  Things can get out of hand really fast!  For instance you go into a bridal shop looking for your dress.  You see one that is totally out of your price range.  What are you going to do?  Don't try it on!  Don't fall in love with a dress you can't afford.  You then start to question the budget you have for your gown.  If you have to worry about paying other portions of your wedding in order to buy this dress think twice.  What if there is another area you want to spend more money in.  Where is one of the first places to save money?  It's the guest list.  Having a smaller guest list means less has to be spent on the caterer etc.   Perhaps your added expense is not the gown but the flowers .  The same holds true.  Maybe your dream wedding is  an island wedding.  Why not look at some place like Boca Grande.  They have beautiful locations and you get the island feel without the added expense of air travel.  To keep on your budget you will need to talk to a number of vendors in the same category.   See what they each have to offer.  Make sure you read the fine print.  We are providing you with a wedding budget worksheet.  Simply fill out the form to the right and we'll send that off to you!  Don't worry we never sell or give out your information.
