I love watching old movies of Ginger Rogers.  The way she danced across the floor with Fred Astaire was an inspiration for me.  I couldn't wait to see all her different gowns.  I admit the kind of dresses I loved to wear growing up were the ones that would twirl so when I found this wedding dress that was inspired by Ginger Rogers I flipped.  I knew I had to share this with you.  Watching movies of Ginger Rogers makes you want to dance and transports you to another place and time.

I love the charm and grace that olders movies display.  You can get so many ideas from watching these movies.  As a child my parents let us watch approved movies and obviously the musicals were one of them.  If the movies had singing and dancing in them I was mesmorized.  That's why I love photographing weddings.  There's charm and grace and of course the singing and dancing!  All the elements I know and love!

What I love about this party idea is that you can choose from so many different types of food trucks.  Just remember if you are having a food truck at your wedding you need one food truck per 75 guests.  

This is also a great idea for family get togethers, kids parties, anniversary parties and even engagement parties.

There's no doubt that wedding bouquets are one of the most photographed details from a wedding.  It's important that you choose high quality flowers.  What exactly does that mean?  There have been times when we have zoomed in to take a photograph of a brides bouquet only to see wilting flowers or flowers with brown all around the edges.  That's not what you want for your wedding day.  You want a bouquet that will photograph beautifully.

One of the ways you can make sure of this is by hiring the right florist.  Ask questions such as "How fresh are your flowers"?  "When does my bouquet get made"?  "How are they delivered"? "When are they delivered"?

Let's say that you want to make your own bouquet.  Again quality flowers are a must.  You also need to make sure that if you purchased the flowers the day before in order to make them yourself they need to be kept in the refrigerator in water.

The type of flowers you choose are totally up to you and depend on your style.  

There is also the option to have silk flowers.  Silk flowers have come a long way and if you didn't know it you couldn't tell like the ones in the image below! Your silk flowers can be as full and fancy as you like.  The possibilities are endless.

There is however another awesome option that you have and it's the broch bouquet.  They come in a variety of colors and styles.  If you haven't seen them or heard about them I suggest that you check them out.

One of the things I love about the broch bouquet is that it becomes your keepsake.  What a beautiful keepsake it is!  Totally you!

Whether you choose real flowers, silk or a broch bouquet choose what will be an accent to your wedding dress.  You never want a bouquet that is overpowering you or the dress.  

Tip:  Your wedding bouquet should be no bigger than your head.
